The instructions listed in this Part explain how you can apply the MoL to help memorize lists of random concrete nouns.
Below is an example list of 20 random, concrete, and easy-to-visualize nouns:
- sunburn
- hurdle
- painting
- crocodile
- blacksmith
- star
- gentleman
- clock
- nail
- grass
- car
- horse
- bagpipe
- arrow
- refrigerator
- restaurant
- claw
- tank
- army
- monk
To memorize this list of words, in the order that they’re presented above, perform the following 3 steps for each list item:

Visualize the same location # of your house as that word’s item #.

Visualize the image of the physical object that that word represents as being in that location in your house.

Picture the thing that word represents interacting with that location.

The more bizarre and emotional the interaction, the better!

After you have finished the above steps, to recall the words simply imagine yourself walking through your house and viewing each of the things you have placed in those locations.
